This logo is a design for a fantasy comic about two city guards, one is an automaton and one is cursed with lycanthropy. So the logo was meant to capture the two main characters visuals and help inform or remind the audience what the comic is about - which is mainly the characters and their interactions. 

On the left is the automaton cop, Etch, and on the right is the werewolf detective, Trace.
