Now I really love layout, like I nerd out over it. So when I saw the Classic Explorer Workshop, a layout jam using Clayton Notestine's ttrpg layout template, I really wanted to participate. But I wasn't the kind of person who was doing it because I wanted to do game design and needed help with layout, I wanted to do it just to get more practice doing layout, try out the template, and try some new things. I used stock photography for this but edited them to get the colors the palette I wanted and added grain to give them all a similar feel.
Luckily my friends and I had put together a little hack of Lasers and Feelings that became Mobster's & Lobsters. So I used the text from that as the content for the layout. A little backwards, I know. So this layout is both a representation of my work, as well as displaying the writing work of Luke Bullis, and Nathan and Morghan Harris, and the template by Clayton Notestine.

The four of us that wrote the hack played together and we had a great time with Ladel the Greenland Shark with a jar of marmalade, Cappy Cannonball, a small jelly fish piloting a huge modified diver's suit, and Elbows Mgoo, a squid with sticky fingers. We had a good time getting orders from the Cod Father to find the ghost submarine and keep it from the hands of our rivals, the lobsters.
If you do want to download a copy and play the game then head to my Itch and get it for free.
